How it works

1. Buy a Krezus gift box

Choose the box you want to offer on the ‘store’ section.
Inside, you’ll find a stock card with a unique activation code and a short guide to help the recipient understand the basics of investing.

2. Create an account in the app

The person who receives the gift downloads the Krezus app, creates an account, and completes a quick identity verification. This step is required because Krezus works with Alpaca, a regulated Broker-as-a-Service that securely opens the user’s brokerage account.

3. Enter the activation code

In the app, the user types the activation code found inside the box. Krezus then sends an order to Alpaca, who buys the corresponding stock in the user’s name. The share is held safely in their Alpaca brokerage account, and the user can follow its value and learn the basics of investing directly in the Krezus app.
